Runes are a form of Buffs that you can use to customize certain attributes your character possesses.
Your first Rune slot is available immediately and when your character reaches Level 25, one additional rune slot is unlocked for you to use.
Keep in mind that when something is unlocked for use in the game, it means that you have reached the required level to have the ability to use it but there is an additional cost to actually be able to use it. The cost for opening this additional rune slot for use is 100K Credits and the cost rises with each additional slot.

Collecting Runes
- Runes are collected in the Rune Temple.
- Each day as part of the Daily Assistant quest line you get 1 free prayer in the Rune Temple.
- Each Auto-Pray after your free 1 will cost you Coins, so take caution when using it because you can leave the Rune Temple with no Coins.
Equipping Runes
Runes are equipped by dragging the rune you want to an open slot on the Rune menu. Each Rune that you equip will boost certain Attributes and can end up being a deciding factor when battling someone.
You cannot equip runes with the same attribute on the same character. For example Mesa and Mountain both offer Physical Defense so they cannot be on the same hero at the same time, you can however place Mesa or Mountain on top of each other for an upgrade or to absorb the others Attributes.
Upgrading Runes
Upgrading your Runes increases the base Attributes on it once you meet the experience points requirement to level that rune.
- For example:
A level 1 Guildmaster Rune has base Attributes of +100 Skill Attack and requires 120 Experience Points to level up to the next level.
Each Guildmaster Rune has an Experience Points value of 30.
The cost to level up to level 2 is 120 Experience Points and each rune is valued at 30 Experience Points so if you combine 4 level 1 Guildmaster Runes your rune will increase to Level 2.
The major benefit to upgrading your Runes of course is you will ultimately have a stronger Rune that will give you a better bonus to your Attributes.
If you combine a lower Rune with a Higher Quality Rune the Higher Quality Rune will be dominant and absorb the stats of the Lower Rune.

- Green are the basic runes.
- Blue would be the next level up.
- Purple are the second best rune type.
- Yellow/Gold are the highest quality rune you can obtain.
