BE CAREFUL WHEN EMBEDDING LV. 4 GEMS AND HIGHER, AS THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT GEM COST ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVING THEM
Using Blue Medals, you can add star levels to your heroes which will make them more powerful by increasing their their health and base stats (i.e Command, Strength, and Intelligence).
For star levels 1-9 you need:
- 3 blue medals to upgrade your main character's star level
- 1 blue medal for white & blue heroes
- 2 for purple heroes
- 3 for gold heroes
Safe star levels are 4, 7, & 9. What his means is that when you reach a safe level you can advance to the next star level without losing any stars, (i.e. you have 7 stars and you attempt to upgrade to 8, you WILL get 8 without losing any stars). However, there is still a chance of failure, which means that while you will not lose any stars, you can still waste the blue medals.
You may lose 1 or 2 stars at other upgrades (i.e., have 9 stars and attempt an upgrade to 10 you may lose an already upgraded star.)
For star levels 9+ you need 3 purple medals for your main character and 1 purple medal for other npcs you have recruited.
Sanctifying your heroes boosts their attributes.
In order to Sanctify your heroes, you must acquire them again either from the Heaven Tavern, or by redeeming them with Tavern Spirits or Labyrinth Tokens ---- this will result in receiving a card in their likeness. Using that card can grant the hero a boost to one of their attributes.
- Note: Acquiring the hero's card does not guarantee that they will be sanctified -- there is always a chance of failure while attempting to add "Saint" levels.
- Note 2: The boosted attribute is random, so there is no guarantee of it being ideal for that particular hero.
