What are AttributesEdit

Attributes are the elements that make up your character. They decide how well your character does in battle and how different heroes react in different formations.

Types of AttributesEdit

The different types of attribute are Morale, Physical Attack, Physical Defense, Magic Attack, Magic Defense, Skill Attack, Skill Defense, Critical, Break, Hit Rating, Resilience, Max Hp, Block, and Dodge. In order to obtain these attributes you must get runes from the rune temple. Each rune has at least one of these attributes.

Morale: This attribute increases the speed in which the yellow bar fills up. To be more exact it causes your characters to use their special moves quicker in battle. Most players choose to put Morale runes on their more powerful heroes (generally the main character) because it does not increase Rune Power in a visible level. Runes that increase Morale (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Crusader, Partisan, Righteousness, and Endurance (also increases Max Hp).

Physical Attack: Physical Attack increases the damage done by swords and archers. For this reason most players choose to put it on their knights/tanks. Runes that increase Physical Attack (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Retaliation, Bane, and Vengence (also increases skill damage).

Physical Defense: This attribute decreases the amount of damage recieved from physical attacks. For this reason most players choose to put this attribute on their knights/tanks. Runes that increase Physical Defense (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Mountain, Mesa, and Burliness.

Magic Attack: This attribute increases the amount of damage dealt by Magical Attack. In the game the only characters who use magical attacks are mages (the ones equipped with staffs). For this reason this attribute is generally only put on Mages. Runes that increase Magic Attack (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Trance, Focused, and Intenseness.

Magic Defense: This attribute decreases the amount of damage recieved from Magical Attacks. Most players but this attribute on their mages but it can also be used to increase the defense of your tank. Runes that increase Magic Defense (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Tranquility and Messiness.

Skill Attack: This attribute increase the damage dealt by Skill Attacks, or special moves. For this reason this attribute can be applied to any of the heroes in your formation except for Mages (they do not use Skill Attacks). Archers are a favorite for this rune. Runes that increase Skill Attack (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Guild Master, Artisanship, Adept, and Vengence (also increase Physical Attack).

Skill Defense: This attribute decrease the amount of damage taken from Skill Attacks. This attribute is good to have on any of your heroes though Archers are the favorite. Runes that increase Skill Defense (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Tactics and Flintiness.

Critical: This attribute increases the chance of getting a critical hit. It is good to have on whoever has the highest attack. Runes that increase Critical (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Superiority and Advantage.

Break: This attribute causes your oppenent to block less often. It is good to have on whoever has the highest attack. Rune that increase Break (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Destruction, Eradicator, Infalability, and Reliability (also increases Resilience).

Hit Rating: This attribute increases your Hit Rate, think of it as accuracy. To put it simply the character equipped with this attribute will miss less often. Mages have low accuracy, because of this many characters put this attribute on them. If you are having trouble with a character's attacks not hitting all the time this attribute will help. Runes that increase Hit Rating (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Eagle, Hawkishness, and Preciseness.

Resilience: This attribute decreases the chances of being affected by a negative effect, such as stun. This attribute is useful on any character but is best used on your front line. Runes that increase Resilience (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Cunning, Phantom, Dexterousness, and Reliability (also increases Break).

Max Hp: This attribute increase the Maximum Health Points available to the character. This rune is great on any character but is most popular on the players main character and their tank. Runes that increase Max Hp (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Vigor, Vitality, and Endurance (also increases Morale).

Block: This attribute increases that chance that your character will block. It is most popular to put this attribute onto your tank. Runes that increase Block (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Wall and Resistance.

Dodge: This attribute increase the chances of your character dodging an attack. This attribute is good on all characters. Runes that increase Dodge (from lowest increase to highest increase) are - Agility and Nimbleness.
